Evaluating System Performance and Scalability Using IBM Rational Performance Tester

IBM(R) Rational(R) Performance Tester (RPT) is a tool for performance and scalability testing of server-based software applications. RPT’s analysis infrastructure allows testers to identify problem areas of the system under test, correlate performance problems with resource usage, and communicate analysis results to validate service level agreements and assist in performance improvements.  This presentation demonstrates the evaluation of a server- based application using load level analysis ranges, response time breakdown, resource data correlation, and other crucial RPT analysis features.

This session includes several technical demonstrations to illustrate key concepts.  While these demos will be delivered live during the session presentation, extensive screenshots have been captured for you and are posted here:
